Robin Renzi, designer and CEO of Me&Ro has been making jewelry since she was in high school, a craft she continued to pursue while studying ballet and modern dance. She performed in avant-garde downtown theaters such as The Kitchen, and in a number of music videos including Steve Winwood's award winning Higher Love video.
Me&Ro was born in the back of Robin's Elizabeth Street apartment in the summer of 1991. She is inspired by the human need both to adorn and to communicate through jewelry.
Equally important is the power jewelry has to express the human values of strength, love, and faith. Exploring the beauty of nature and the balance of form, Robin opts for subtlety over showiness, pursuing an aesthetic of simple beauty. Inducted into the CFDA in 2008, Robin continues to express herself through the art of making jewelry.
